A gallery is only evidence if you know what to check in it. These six checks apply to any clinic's photos, including the ones above.
The most common way a result gets flattered is not retouching, it is geometry. A before shot taken from above with room light and an after taken straight on with a ring flash will look like a bigger change than it is. In an honest pair the head is at the same height, the distance is the same and the lighting is the same. If the two images do not look like they were taken in the same room, you are comparing photography, not dentistry.
A great many published afters are upper arch only, photographed in a smile that never shows the lower teeth. That is a real result and a real treatment, but it is a different price and a different surgery from full mouth. In Cancun a single arch One Trip is $9,000 and both arches One Trip is $14,990. Before you compare a photo to your own case, find out how many arches were treated in it.
Every All-on-4 patient wears a fixed screw-retained temporary for roughly four months while the implants integrate. It is delivered on days 5 to 6, which is also when a patient is happiest and most photographed. That photo is legitimate, but it is not the finished restoration. The final monolithic Prettau zirconia arch is fitted on the second trip at month four. A gallery that never says which one you are seeing is hiding the more useful information.
Anyone can make teeth white. The part that decides whether a full arch reads as natural is the transition line: the junction where the bridge meets your own tissue. In a well-planned case it sits above where your lip travels, so it is never on display. A photo cropped tightly to the teeth, or one where the patient is smiling only slightly, removes exactly the information you need. Ask for a wide smile shot.
Facial swelling after extractions and implant placement peaks around 48 to 72 hours and settles over the following two weeks. During that window the lips and cheeks look fuller, which is temporarily flattering and completely unrepresentative. A photo taken at the four month appointment, after the tissue has matured around the bridge, is worth more than five taken on day six. Ask when the after was taken, not just what it shows.
A photograph on its own is unattributable. The pairs on this page carry a home state, an age, the starting condition, the number of implants, the brand placed and the price quoted, and every one was published with written patient consent. If a clinic cannot tell you what was done and what it cost, the photograph is decoration. It is also fair to ask whether an image appears on other clinics' sites: stock and shared case photos circulate widely in this industry.
Six things move when a full arch is placed. Four of them are visible. The two that matter most on the day you go home are not.
When teeth and then bone are lost, the distance between the nose and the chin shortens. The lips roll inward, the chin rotates forward and the folds at the corners of the mouth deepen. This is why patients often say a result makes them look years younger without being able to name what changed: the prosthesis restores the vertical dimension the teeth used to hold. It is also why the strongest before-and-after pairs are the ones where the patient had been in dentures for a decade.
Where the bridge stops and your gum starts has to end up above your lip line. If you have a high smile line, that junction is the single hardest part of the case and it is planned on the CBCT before any implant is placed, not improvised at delivery. Look for it in the wide smile photos on this page. Where you cannot find it, the planning worked.
On days 3 and 4 of the first trip we try wax rollers in the mouth: shape, length, lip support and bite, with nothing yet finalised. That appointment is where the after photo is really decided. You look at your own face with the proposed teeth in place and you say yes or you change it. Nothing is milled in our lab until you have approved the look.
Whether an arch survives is a question of load, not looks. Implants are checked for insertion torque at surgery, and the occlusion is adjusted so that force lands where the implants are, not on the cantilevered back teeth. None of that is visible in an image. Two identical looking results can behave completely differently over five years depending on whether the bite was equilibrated properly and whether the patient clenches.
The palate thickness and the position of the upper front edges change how S and F sounds are made. Most patients adapt within a couple of weeks; a few need the edges adjusted, which is done chairside. This is the part of the experience that no gallery in the world documents, and it is worth asking any clinic how they handle it before you book.
There is a deliberate space beneath a full arch bridge that you clean daily with a water flosser and threaded floss. It is the maintenance the result depends on, and it is invisible from the front in every photograph ever published. Ask to see a case photographed from below, and ask what the recall schedule looks like once you are home.

Face the window, hold the camera at eye level and let your mouth rest without smiling. This shows how much tooth is displayed at rest and how the lips sit without support, which is the baseline everything else is measured against.
Not a polite one. We need to see how high your lip travels, because that is what decides where the transition line has to be hidden and therefore how much bone reduction the plan calls for. If you avoid smiling widely because of your teeth, do it once for this photo.
Taken from your left or right at eye level, lips relaxed. The profile shows lip support and how much facial height has already been lost, which is often the difference between a modest change and the results people call dramatic.
A panoramic X-ray from your own dentist, however old, is worth more than all three photographs combined. Photographs show a smile; only a scan shows bone. If you have none, your CBCT and panoramic are taken on day 1 in Cancun and are included in every package.
Within 24 hours you get a written plan in USD: how many implants, whether extractions and PRF grafting are in the plan, which route fits, and the price, locked for 12 months. What you will not get is a promise about how you will look. A photographic review narrows the possibilities; the CBCT taken on day 1 confirms them, and occasionally it changes the plan, most often by adding an implant at $900 or, where the upper jaw has lost too much bone for standard fixtures, by moving to zygomatic anchorage at $4,500 per unit.
